Be it in art or architecture, water carries a weight and symbolism while being central to human activity. For centuries, humans gathered and settled near bodies of water, a feature that shaped civilizations. Continuously looking for it, both the animal and plant kingdom depend on it to thrive.

As water demand continues to increase, an increasing number of cities will face challenges in efficiently managing scarcer, less reliable water resources. In an attempt to get closer to this matter, I have directed my artistic practice towards this subject, gaining a deeper understanding of this element and its cycles. I believe that art can serve as a medium for change and increasing empathy. At the same time, I dive into my architecture practice in the same direction, using both practices as a medium for thought, reflection, and action.
